Raggalds Flood and the end of white wings

                                 White wings, young House Sparrow

The flood reduced to a muddy area

                    Lapwings still present.

White wings the baby House Sparrow which fledged a few days ago and was always around the feeders ran out of luck today when a cat took it from under next doors privet hedge just as it had started to feed itself and got a bit more adventurous. It stood out with all the white on it and I expected the Sparrowhawk to wipe it out but thats nature.
Needless to say, the cat has gone onto Lyndas wanted, dead or alive list with the local Sparrowhawk.

Raggalds flood tonight was reduced to a muddy patch but with some good rain it may stay as it is without drying out. The 2 Lapwings and 3 Pied Wagtails were still present.
