Raggalds Flood, Soil Hill.

The distant elusive Wheatear at Raggalds flood for NK and AC.
                                    Soil Hill female Wheatear.

                                    Plenty singing Skylarks.
Late afternoon visit.  Hot and sunny , hazy visibility.

Arrived at the flood to find no Redshank and no sign of NKs Yellow Wag from this morning.
After a lot of searching and walking up and down the road to different positions I found what I thought was the Redshank in the broken down wall to the north of the water.
As it came out I got its black belly and then it launched itself over the road towards Soil Hill, Dunlin, another new bird for the site.
Also present was 1 Wheatear which so far has evaded NK and AC, along with 3 Pied Wagtails, 2 Mallards and several Swallows.

Soil Hill just had the 1 female Wheatear and several singing Skylarks along with several Meadow Pipits ,
4 Linnet and 3 Pied Wagtails.
Didnt do the bottom of the hill to find NKs warblers due to the hour being too late for songsters.
