L.E.O. Undisclosed site.
Lens beyond its range limit but record shots.
Curlews about in numbers now.
After a tip off from the hawkeye pair, Dave and Jen today it was a quick tea and away in search of Long Eared Owl.
Thanks to Dave and Jens directions over the phone I got in the area and after 15mins scanning I thought the bird had moved so as a last minute check a few yards further on there it was, sitting out just in the edge of the trees but a great distance away for decent photos.
As Dave warned me, 2 steps either way and the bird was out of sight so well done you two for finding it.
