Clear skies over Queensbury.

                                         Common gulls moving >NE

                                                 Single BHG >W
                                         Redwings  and Mistle Thrush >NE

A glorious day with clear blue skies and sunshine most of the day, ( its only during vis mig season that I dont like this weather), which seemed to incite birds to move around. From first light there was a steady flow of Common gulls all > NE whilst a single Black Headed went over west raising very high as it passed Foxhill.
Two flocks of 6 and 8 Redwings and Mistle Thrush flew over the park at midday heading >NE and several Greenfinch were moving in all directions, probably from feeder to feeder.
An usual report today from NK, see Queensburybirder, of Pink Footed geese over the Causeway foot col, just when Id thought they were all at the coast by now.
