Redwings start to arrive.

                                                Last light over Foxhill
Few Common and Black headed in the park

One of those days with a real smell of vis mig.  After a foggy start Meadow Pipits got moving with several groups of 10 + all >S , this movement continued into the afternoon.
Blackbird numbers are increasing around the village as well as Robins and the small gull flock is up to c50 early morning but not staying the day.
Walking home tonight 8 Redwings came over from the west and dropped down into the old railway station, a favourite roost area during the winter and further up the road 27 LBBs flew high over Chapel Lane >SE.
Up to 5 Pipistrelle bats were over the park last light but no sound of contact calls from Redwings.
