An evening visit in the drizzle and mist with the hopes of passing Tern or a fall of Common Scoters but neither happened but you have to live in hopes.
Conditions were ideal for movers after midday when the skies closed in and immediately the gulls were moving over >NW but Ogden was quiet with just 28 BHGs and the usual 2 LBBs. See Queensburybirders blog for Nigels cracking Yellow Legged Herring gull at this venue this afternoon.
A Chiffchaff was a pleasing sight and a Great Tit was munching on Rowan berries though the photos do neither justice in the dark misty wood.
Otherwise it was just down to the Heron and the usual Mallards with no sign of the Gt Crested Grebe or the Tufteds.
