Gulls Galore
Commons
The black rain clouds make a good background.
With limited time this evening and not long enough to go after DJSs Whinchat it was a dog walk through the fields into Old Guy Rd gull watching. Old Guy Rd itself was quiet due to a cricket match on but I caught up to the gulls in 2 fields between Fleet Lane and Old Guy Rd though very flighty lifting off ever time the bat struck the cricket ball.
The majority were BHGs with several Commons and just 3 big gulls, 2 LBBs and one Herring which was a nice suprise.
Swallows were everwhere over the new cut fields and 8 Swifts were counted throughout the day all >S.
As I type this now at 2015 several LBBs are moving over the house heading >W.
