Green Lane
Jackdaws enjoying the new cut fields
Few BHGs in fields
A detour around Green Lane tonight on the way from Shelf Moor found just a few Black Headed gulls in fields near to Deanstones and otherwise it was all Jackdaws enjoying the new cut fields. No sign of Little Owl or Green Woodpeckers and just a scattering of Swallows were moving through >S.
A report from a customer today, Mr Turner who found the Blackbird looking like a Ring Ouzel at Shelf Moor, telling me of a Little Owl showing well at a barn near the Lion Gates which could explain no sightings of the pair that used to show nearby on Shelf Moor Rd. Thanks for that Mr Turner.
