A quick visit this evening around Corporal Hill, and Green Lane found very little in the way of gulls even though most of the fields have recently been cut. A few small gulls were present, Commons and Black Headed otherwise it was all corvids, mainly jackdaws.
Several Goldfinch and Linnet were showing with no sign of the Little Owls , hirundines or Swifts.
Up to 60 small gulls were in fields off Old Guy road but soon moved off >E towards the Eccup roost.
No big gulls seen over the village today, just the now resident smalls.
