A late afternoon tour found 5 Lapwing at Shelf Moor , 3 Little Owl and a Kestrel at Green Lane , both sites having Swallows and Swifts and a scattering of BH gulls in the fields.
Soil Hill was deadly quiet other than the usual Skylarks, 2 Reed Buntings and 3 Grey Partridge.
