Tawnies
Thanks to the garden owner for texting me today to say that the resident Tawnies were showing well.
By the time I could get there after work they,d move back into the ivy but not as deep in as usual so managed to do a bit of a photo shoot.
These 2 owls may possibly be 1st year birds, 1 especially hasnt yet got the full face pattern, as there is no sign of breeding attempts which usually takes place March to May.
Queensbury otherwise has been quiet today in the sunshine and showers with a strong WSW>5-6.
Midday saw 4 Herring gulls high over Foxhill >W.
