Fly Flatts

Curlews now established on the moor
Water looking lively again with geese back.

Fly Flatts 0700-1000hrs.  Cold ENE>5 early rain shower then sunshine.
A disappointing morning mainly due to early off the lead dogs with 6 running amok at one point all around the Twite feeding area.
A movement of Woodpigeons was apparent far out to the west and 6 Fieldfare headed >N.
The first Redshank had returned and several Meadow Pipits were displaying.
Not surprisingly no sign of Twite or Wheatear.
