2nd year Common gull overhead
Plenty BH and Commons in the fields
Mixenden reservoir from the hill
oxenhope reservoir from the hill
A wild hour up on the hill with just Hurricane Katia for company and DJS across the valley at Hunter Hill. The wind had increased to gale force SW>7 gusting 8 with light rain and drizzle showers keeping the skies clear of birds other than the resident Kestrels and a few small gulls which were moving out of the nearby fields. Just 2 LBB gulls passed through and a small handful of Swallows.
The large Linnet flock had split up to flocks of 50ish feeding on the summit all keeping down in the ruts, whilst 4 Skylark seemed unconcerned with the wind.
