Thursday night dip, Fly Flatts

Northern ponds and shore

Still plenty mud at the north end

Managed to waste an hour tonight dashing over to Fly Flatts with hopes of the Greenshank but this was not to be.
After going in at the northern end and doing a full scope of the shoreline the bird was not to be found.
11 Wheatear were picked up in the scope along wall tops ,otherwise just a few Mallard and Canadas with no gulls present.
Did manage to get bit though with thousands of midges
