Roll on July

House Sparrows have had a good breeding season so far.

Rain approaching Foxhill this evening.

Plenty LBB gulls over today all >W along with a few Black Headeds and Swallows and Swifts are in the air feeding in the warm wet conditions.
Lynda not a happy bunny today when the local Sparrowhawk blasted into the hawthorns and made off with one of her young House Sparrows, she says she would never hurt any creature but would gladly shoot that damn Sparrowhawk !
A report today of a flock of 12 Canada geese this morning flying in from the east and landing in the field at the top of the Dailies, an unusual sighting.
I know I shouldnt wish summer away but once this month is out we can look forward to seeing some fresh movement.
