Another day, another dip

With a dip on the Redcar Tarn Iceland gull yesterday and calls from MC saying the bird was present most of today I hoped to get over there but didnt get free until 1500 hrs so by the time I would have got to Keighley in the tea time traffic the gulls would have been off to roost.
Plan B was to check out a local target bird but after 2 hours standing in muddy water with a icy cold NW>4 blowing I had to admit to a second day dip.
Thanks to Ian Hargreaves and Mick Cunningham for keeping me informed and for the pics they sent, and the finder Keith Moir for starting the ball rolling. I,m hoping to have another dabble at it but it may be mid week if it waits for me.
