Raggalds Flood in the Hail, Sleet and Snow

Plenty gull activity at the flood
A local resident has started bread lobbing daily
The gulls and Mallards enjoy it but anything
                     else is flushed

Star prize for this Carrion crow
                                      Water only just holding up.

A hectic day with a 3 monthly hospital check with Lynda this morning which was once again all clear so a sigh of relief and dash back to work.
A shortened lunch break but just time to check the Raggalds Flood on the way back which held 21 Common gull and 13 Black Headed along with 7 Carrion Crow all squabbling over bread that had just been thrown from the next field by a local resident. Unfortunately this is being done on a daily basis which flushes any specials away.
The weather was atrocious with a strong to gale force SW>7 with hail, sleet and the first snow showers of winter.
See what the wind blows in this weekend.
