Tour of the locals

                   First light at Lower Laithe

                                      First bird at Leeshaw
Ready for the off at Leeshaw
                                   A wet gloomy Leeshaw

           An even wetter gloomier Ogden

Yet another Sunday morning of low cloud, heavy drizzle and poor light, becoming to be a habit this.
Again no signs of moving wildfowl at the local reservoirs due to the mild damp December.
Golden Plover seem to have started returning to the regular field at Upper Marsh, Oxenhope with about 6 picked out in the distance.
Only 1 Greyleg goose at Leeshaw which is usually holding good flocks of geese by now and no sign of the Kingfisher at Ogden. No Goldeneye yet at Ogden so its looking bad for Johns hat which will be eaten at last light today.
