More Woodpigeons on the move

                   Another vis mig sunrise

                                          Woodpigs piling >S

All done by 0845hrs apart from stragglers
Poor Ollie late night in his comfort coat trying to
          ignore the fireworks.
The garage Robin has returned for the winter and
 flown in the garage twice.
This had me going a bit drifting high in the sky
until I zoomed in on it.

Talking of balloons, the mystery raptor went down like a lead one with a majority of don,t knows or don,t cares so that can be filed under  : cud av bins : and move on.

Another cracking vis mig sunrise with wall to wall Woodpigeons moving through >S though in smaller flocks than previous mornings. A total of c400 by 0830hrs when the clouds started to move in and the rush died down to stragglers.
A single flock of around 50 Fieldfares came over >S around 0750hrs but no more seen although HC texted to say they were plentiful over Oxenhope.
The rest of the day was quiet with empty skies at lunchtime and just the usual Common and Black Headed gulls in Foxhill Park.
A real shock after dinner when the camera shop rang me with an estimate to repair the big camera, ( Canon 7d )  just £ 480 the girl calmly said and when I got up off the floor I told her to forget it and I,d go pick it up. Looks like I,ll have to get used to the bridge camera for now although thats the one I use all the working week so I get plenty practice with it.
A nice peaceful night so far with no panicking dogs. Last night was like living in the centre of Afganistan.
