Old Guy Road early a.m.

Old Guy Rd Cricket field, good for passing Wheatear
                                  An empty pitch
                                      Ovenden Moor in the background.

A diversion on the way to work this morning to check Old Guy Road for early returning Wheatear or Whinchat but scored a duck on both.
Up to 3 Skylarks were in the area and 6 Meadow Pipits around the wall tops whilst a Grey Partridge was calling from the long grass near the usual field but well hidden.
Several corvids , magpies and 3 BH gulls were in a new mown field whilst LBBs moved >NW overhead.
Nice bit of thunder and heavy rain for a short period this p.m. which may have shuffled things up a bit.
Counting down now to the weekend.
