Queensbury, and another spring like day

Blue Tits are active by the garage car park

                         Checking out the designer home.

                                         Last light over Foxhill

Another glorious day with wall to wall sunshine and avoiding the early morning mist today which seemed to be hanging in the valleys.
Things are really starting to kick off now with local birds busy nest building and more reports each day of wildfowl moving around our reservoirs. Redshank have been the latest new arrivals to our area although nothing yet showing at the Raggalds Flood.
A report today from leading firefighter Craig of 2 Gt Crested Grebe on Mixenden reservoir yesterday which is a good record for that location, thanks for that Craig.
Nothing but empty skies over Foxhill at lunch time but we live in hopes awaiting the Ospreys heading north.
Another check on Raggalds Flood ,which is now desperately low on water, found 4 Lapwing , a Pied Wagtail and a Grey Wagtail.
