Snowy Queensbury and Foxhill gulls

A snowy start at the garage
Morning sun hitting the Dyke chimney.
                                 Foxhill Common gull
This Black Headed can,t wait to get into his summer gear

                                            How proud am I.

                                      Common taking a dip
Tuesdays Pinkies over Northowram then Swalesmoor.
          This photo courtesy Andy Cockroft.

A snowy frosty start then heavy snow showers until mid afternoon before drying up and the wind increasing but not as bad as last nights gales when I thought the house roof was going to end up over Ogden.

Raggalds Flood was again deserted,as was Roper Lane and Old Guy Rd.
Foxhill park held 14 Common gulls and 11 Black Headed, one of which had a near complete black hood, see photo.
Thanks to AC for sending me the pic of the skein of Pinkies from Tuesday which passed over Northowram, Swalesmoor and the Roper Lane watch point, shame I was,nt there at the time.

Lynda had a good day today making mine a bad one moving furniture round for her, got to be a sign she,s improving.
