Ogden

                                                 Male Goldeneye
                                       Plenty Robins inc continentals
                       Blackbirds rummaging in the leaves

The tame Robins are the British sp.

A quick check on Ogden at midday found the m Goldeneye still on the water but very elusive.
Up to 30 Robins around the perimeter, several of which were continentals being much slimmer and paler breasts than the bright and confining British ones.
Otherwise it was down to Blackbirds, Dunnocks and Wrens with no Tit flocks or Goldcrests.
A couple of Coal Tits were hanging around the empty feeders.
A pair of Bullfinch brightened the job up slightly.
Around 50 BHgulls were present and the usual Mallards.
Nice to bump into local birder John who had just dipped on Soil Hill.
