More Pinkies on the move

My last nights prediction came true with Pink Footed geese piling through Calderdale today with a count of 832, some being near this area over Northowram and Ovenden, see Calderbirds, and a single over the trailer park field, see Nigels blog.
With a morning out of the area and a busy afternoon at work catching up I managed a complete dip on the aerial display but I,m sure we,ll have more over the weekend.
Hopefully with the large numbers over ,some will have stopped off in local fields or by local reservoirs.
The movement of geese usually sparks Whooper Swans to move so check the reservoirs near you.
