Queensbury today

                                                  BHG
1 of the Foxhill bred Crows

                                           Common gulls

                                    The strange gull still around

In the background with a Common gull

A bright frosty day with birds a lot more active than yesterday.
Three LBBs went over the garage >SW late morning and the first sign of Meadow Pipits >NE with 8 all together. Midday was quiet in the skies other than Commons, BHGs and corvids though plenty Pinkies were again moving late afternoon and after dark, see ACs Northowram blog.
Tonight the sky over Queensbury was clear and starry with a thick fog bank hanging low to the east over Bradford.
NK today checked out the south of the area which was quiet but good news on the Little Owls when he sighted 2 in the usual place and a third calling some 50 yds away, probably the family that are still together.
