More wind and rain for Queensbury

A dry but SW>5 morning with rain from midday onwards. No local Waxwing reports yet other than 5 >S over Northowram early morn, AC, and a grapevine report of Pinkies still on the move but not in our area.
A quick dinner/dogwalk at midday today then armed to the hilt with cameras a visit to a Tawny Owl site before work where 2 are reported to have to returned to after the spring but no signs of them today.
Bumped into customer Shereen who had been watching the white crow near her house and reported large numbers of Starlings taking over her feeders, seems to be a lot of  continental birds in now for the winter.
Good to see DJP back in action, Calderbirds, as NK and me were saying, something should get turned up now, no pressure there Darrell !
Weather still looking good for the weekend so lets see what we can turn up.
