Fifteen minutes at the watchpoint

Every cloud has a silver lining

                                   Dark clouds over the col
Steam rising from the Ogden plantation
Hundreds of gulls over the moor but very distant
                                          The watchpoint track

Just 15 minutes spare this evening in between dashing about so a quick look at the Ned Hill watchpoint which was a different story to last night. Hundreds of small gulls were over the moor below Thornton Moor reservoir but very distant and all leaving directly east. The big gulls did the same leaving the reservoir directly east so not coming past the watchpoint.
Around 500 small gulls left along with 50+ LBBs with at least 2 Herrings but these were a scoping job because of the distance, no pics tonight.
Otherwise it was just Swallows blogging and about a dozen Linnets.
