A lull in the movement program

A poor start to the day with a strong icy wind which strenghtened as the day went on and the weather deteriorated leaving gale force winds and torrential rain by early evening. Just got back from dog walking over the mountain and the wind is up to SW> 7 gusting 8 with torrential rain showers.
I bet Denises gull that had travelled 1021 miles to get to Ogden wishes it had,nt bothered, I was miffed on  Sunday and had only travelled one and a half miles to get there.
Needless to say, the skies have been void of birds throughout the day and other than a few Common gulls in the park at midday that has been it.
Kept a lookout late morning when the sky was clear expecting skeins of Pinkies moving in front of this weather system but it did,nt happen.
