Ned Hill Track pm

I said yesterday I wanted rid of the hot stuff and today it happened with a bitter cold W>5 and cloudy skies cutting visibility down to 2 miles.
A walk from dog cack alley along the road past the Black Redstart sight checking all the walls and buildings with no joy so down to the Ned Hill track with hopes of Swallows moving through the Causeway Foot col but again nothing.
Plenty Skylark, Meadow Pipit and Lapwing about but otherwise quiet. Back at dog cack alley I walked up the track to check around the mast building area but again very quiet and no sign of Wheatear. Plenty migrants have moved across the channel today and yesterday in the high pressure so we should have something to watch by the Easter weekend.
Checked Raggalds Flood on the way back to find the Teal gone but the Mallards and 2 Redshank still present with the water situation looking grim.
