National non birding day

With the son in law rushed into hospital for a appendicitis op this morning we were on child minding duties so bang went my tea time birding session as the grandaughter at 2 yr old is not just ready for Soil Hill yet so at 0830 hrs tonight all was well after the op and we were  able to pass her back and unwind.
All seemed quiet on the dog walks with nothing in the sky and just a few Common gulls on Foxhill park.  Sainsburys car park this afternoon was now completely cleared of berries and just held a few Goldfinch on the Alders.
The fog has just come rolling back in tonight so its looking a bit grim for the morning but I,ll be out there having a dabble.
