Oxenhope Reservoir, members only.


    Female Goosander across the water

                      Plenty juv LBBs present

                      Black Headeds piling in since the weekend


                         Wall to wall gulls, had to make them distant
                                  to get them all in. Around 700 gulls
 

If you get bored waiting for a Med gull
 you can watch the Swallows being fed.










Oxenhope reservoir Windy Corner.   1500 - 1615 hrs Sunshine and showers W>5-6
                                                                  Visibility- Leeds.
An amazing sight with just short of 700 gulls along the shoreline stretching half way along the reservoir with a constant stream of gulls coming and going.
A large build up of  Black Headeds since the weekend and Common gulls starting to show more.
Strange how this place is heaving with birds yet only 2 minutes over the ridge from Fly Flatts.
