Shelf Moor trailer park comes back to life.

After a 12 month lull Wheatears start to appear again
Mega distance away,        150mm  Wheatear on wall below
                                                              horses front leg.
                                                    300mm  Oh there it is.
600mm best your going to get.

With a text from AC and knowing the dreaded 4 way temporary lights were gone from Tesco , it was a quick dash down at lunchtime to check the field and look for the reported 2 Wheatears.
The birds were still present but on the far wall out of camera range apart from a record shot but nice to see them using the field again after a year of no reports in 2015.
It is going back to 15/04/2012 when Tracy first discovered the field with 21 Wheatear present.
The field today also held 4 Skylark, 2 Meadow Pipit, 2 Woodpigeons and a Snipe which dropped into the juncus field.
Well done to DJS today for his 2 Whimbrel over my second home, Fly Flatts. See Calderbirds blog for pics.
