Hands up if you,re fed up of getting soaked !

An unbelievable day of continuous heavy rain with about 1 hour of sunshine and blue skies at 1430 hrs. Several good soakings today to and from work and dog walking dinnertime and this evening.
Foxhill park looks more like Hollingworth lake with rivers of water running down the roads. Pity the poor people down in the bottoms again with a high risk of flooding.
Had a semi retired game keeper in the garage today saying lots of their Grouse have been lost with the continuous rain with moorland being saturated and the Grouse not being able to survive the day after day soakings. He sounded almost sorry for them but had they survived he,d have shot them anyway.
On a good note, its interesting to know that Pink Footed Geese will move in any weather with the 6
I clocked yesterday from Soil Hill moving in a howling gale and hail storm and the skein today,reported via the grapevine over Ogden, moving in torrential rain and strong winds.
Lets see what tomorrow brings.
