Woodpigs on the move

A good start to the day with calm conditions and suitable grey skies.
First off was 15 noisy Canada geese low over the house heading >W towards Ogden.
On the way to, and arriving at work, good numbers of Woodpigeons were coming over >S in groups of 50 +.
A busy start at work so had to get my head down missing the action until an alert from NK who had Fieldfare and Woodpigs over and whilst on the phone to him the Woodpigs were coming over the garage in waves.
By mid morning the weather front arrived from the west bringing heavy drizzle , then by lunch time thick fog which thwarted a planned check of the Raggalds Flood.
Mid afternoon and the fog cleared bringing heavy rain and strong SSW>6 winds.
There must be easier hobbies than this.
