Fieldfare, Redwings and Yellow Browed Warblers

Fog on the way to work this morning and fog on the way home at tea time with sunshine and showers in between, some of the showers torrential.
Bright blue skies over Foxhill at lunch time but not a bird to be seen.
However, reports from HC at Oxenhope this morning with the first flocks of Redwing over along with one or two reports of Fieldfare starting to show.
BTO blog, see link, are reporting the largest arrival of Yellow Browed Warblers ever so check those tit flocks out, we,re bound to get one or two through the area. Passerine alley is the hotspot for one at Ogden.
Hopefully the thunderstorm will have shook the weather up a bit and got rid of the high pressure and fog.
Thanks for this mornings call Compo ( HC )
