Queensbury Vis Mig

A much better movement today first light but as soon as the sky turned blue the passing birds went very high and difficult to see with the blue background.

Yesterdays excitement with the Raggalds Flood was short lived after a dinner time dash found very little water and no Mallards. Just 1 distant Wheatear present plus Linnets and Goldfinch.

An interesting e mail from Michael Welch reporting the Lanner Falcon flying over Oats Royd yesterday at 1715 hrs. Obviously hanging around the area.

A great find by DJS of a very late Swift over Ringby Top today, well spotted Dave.

Love the buzzard shot at the top Bri.
Plenty birds at Ringby this morning but they were mostly going round in circles - I was baffled as to which way they were going. The Swift knew as did the Siskins.
Well done for your Foxhill vis mig !
