Queensbury Today

Another day of mist and fog shutting vis mig down shortly after first light.
Meadow Pipits were trickling through showing signs of a half decent count until the fog rolled in.
Wagtails were on the move too with 8 Alba and 3 Grey but I didnt get the Yellow reported from Oxenhope.
Things seem to be hotting up now with better numbers of moving Mipits , the best being 400+ from Jean Roberts at Cayton, Lancaster.

A report today of a flock of 10-12 possible Twite on Ringby Top which have been showing a few days now. The report ,from Michael Welch, says he is reasonably sure these were Twite and not Linnets so well worth a check out if anyone is in the area, thats if the fog ever clears.
