Fly Flatts revisited a.m.

Another poor kestrel attempt with not enough stops on the camera
for the poor early morning light
              Oystercatcher across on the marshes
A poor year for Common Sandpiper with no banking

Same shot as yesterday showing how much
    calmer the water was.
                                   2 Adult Redshank

                    Juv Redshank
Snipe

Not many Curlews showing until after breeding.
                                                                    Posing Pheasant
Fly Flatts 0615- 0945 hrs

Much calmer than yesterday in a cold WNW>5-6 and some drizzle in cloudy sunshine.
Due to the mountain bike race I had to stick to the north end of the water but took advantage of the time to walk on the western track to the moor top.
Things were quiet up on the tops in the increasing wind and drizzle but about 15 Golden plover were seen briefly around the moor.
Back at the water things were much the same as yesterday with LBBs moving >W and >SW whilst a pair of Tufted and 3 Teal were interesting though sticking to the far bank before all 5 heading off together towards Oxenhope.

3 Teal
1pr Tufted
100+ Canadas
1 Dunlin
3 Redshank
1 Common Sandpiper
1 Oystercatcher
3 Curlew
50 + Swifts >N
1 Kestrel
1 Snipe
+ usual Mipits etc.
