Dinnertime Dailies Dash

                        Plenty Linnets about

Magpies making a nuisance of themselves

Inspired by HC who spent time down the Dailie fields this morning whilst I did his car, coming back with reports of up to 7 Whitethroats around the old station it was a quick dinner and loaded up with camera to see what I could snap.
I,d only 10 minutes spare once at the top of the Dailies so only managed to trek half way down where there were several Linnets but failed to connect on Whitethroat although I could hear 1 calling lower down in the station. Several Magpies were around watching for chicks whilst a few LBB gulls headed up the Aire Valley.
Well done to Howard with the Whitethroats, not a common bird at this location.
The clear blue skies made me take the big camera up the park at lunchtime ready for a passing Buzzard or Red Kite but of course neither materialized..
