Shelf Moor Garden Tick

Some strange species in Shelf Moor

                                      A wander round the garden

A late evening gardening session at Shelf Moor yesterday found a Peacock drop out of the sky and onto the bungalow roof before dropping down into the garden. After a nosey around away it went across the road into gardens opposite. possibly the same free flying bird we had in the garden at Queensbury 12 month ago.

Fifteen minutes sky watching from Corporal Hill this lunchtime failed to produce the goods in a strong SW>6
6 Canadas were on the Green Lane pond along with a pair of Mallard, otherwise all quiet.
