A wet start to the weekend

A glorious day but an evening after work check of Ogden was soon scuppered when the weather turned nasty late afternoon bringing torrential rain and fog on into the evening. Even a quick dog walk up Foxhill left the 4 of us soaked to the skin.
Had to come out of work at lunch time for an hour to attend a funeral at Park Wood Elland in glorious sunshine where House Martins, Sand Martins and Swallows were over the ski lake at EGP but still no Swift for me.
Was hoping for a Buzzard over Park Wood but was threatened with violence if I saw one and got the camera out.
A parts delivery van driver from Leeds today said that its alive with Swifts over Roundhay Park and there is a flock of around 200 Golden Plover in with Lapwings alongside the runway at Yeadon airport.
Wonder what the weathers going to throw at us this weekend.
