Queensbury, one of those quiet days.

With fog until late a.m. then a brisk S>5 and grey skies nothing much was seen around the village today.
Blackbirds are singing well now early morning until after dark along with Dunnocks whilst  resident Magpies, Jackdaws and Crows are nest building.
Good to have HC in the garage today though his plan of checking the Dailies whilst I did his car was scuppered with the fog but good to catch up on past birding experiences. HC and myself started birding together when we were 12 years old.
With Wheatears, Sand Martins, Swallows and Little Ringed Plovers in the country now things should start to get interesting although North winds over the weekend will slow things down temporarily.
