Queensbury Today

                     Rooks marking territory

A sneaky cool day with little on the move but resident birds starting to get fidgety , some carrying nest material, mainly Blackbirds.
Rooks are getting very noisy and starting to refurbish last years nests down towards the station.
A Woodcock was reported half way down the Dailie fields by the new Hawthorns and 2 Snipe were seen by the same person down at the bottom of the track.
All ready for the weekend now which, fog permitting, something should turn up.
BS.
