Dinner time dash to Raggalds Flood and Shelf Moor

Raggalds Flood, and now we,ve got a duck feeder
Good Lapwing count at Shelf Moor

Sure got windy at Shelf Moor
Right across the juncus field gateway

A check on Raggalds Flood at lunch time found a fellow with a bag full of bread feeding the Mallard and gulls which is alright for them but not if you,re hoping to find a Green Sandpiper on its way from Brighouse, see Calderbirds.
Down to Shelf Moor trailer park to find a decent count of Lapwing at last with 173 along with 100+ Starling and a few small gulls.
Strangely no Golden Plover and even stranger no Snipe even after shuffling past the blown over trailer and checking the juncus field. They obviously move off to feed and return to the field to roost.
