Christmas Day Bash

78 small gulls in Foxhill this morning
                      Nice sunrise

Wanted a skein of geese across but had
to make do with a gull.

A Merry Christmas from Lynda and the boys.
Must be the medicine thats turned her
                               legs purple !
                       Raggalds Flood mid pm.

Well its all over now baht shouting and I hope you,ve all had a good day.
A brighter day with a cold N>4 and a few showers with a clear sky tonight and grit wagons out so it looks promising for the morning Boxing Day bash.
Slipped out for 45 mins this afternoon to save me climbing the walls, I,m not an indoor person and start pacing about like a caged bear.
First stop was Soil Hill but just a quick check up dog cack alley and once around the summits finding 2 Skylark, 3 Grey Partridge, 1 pr Pheasant and 8 Meadow Pipits.

Raggalds Flood held 41 Lapwing whilst Shelf Moor held 93 Lapwing, c150 Starling and a few small gulls. A good scope around failed to find any Goldies.
No Redwing present today but 27 came over Foxhill >SW early doors.

Boxing Day bash in the morning , and Lynda threatening me with shops p.m. then back to work Saturday.
