Confined to Ogden this morning with traffic and road blocks. Very few people around Ogden but by 0900hrs the car parks were heaving with bike watchers walking up the Withins track.

Passerines are noticeable by their absence now with only 1 Willow Warbler heard.
The water held 19 Canadas, 2 Gt Crested Grebe and 1 Heron + several Black Headed gulls.
A Common Sandpiper flew from the NW shore to the N end not to be re located.
2pr Grey Wagrtails had 5 juvs between them.

It flew from the mud where the Heron stands nw corner as I was walking up the west side and disappeared on the shoreline north end that is blanked with trees. Walked all round and scanned from the east side but failed to find it although it didnt leave.
