Harp Lane , Foxhill

 Views >E from Harp Lane         Listers mill in the centre
              Clump of trees on the horizon is Yeadon airport
            Thornton Church in the centre, Baildon Moor on horizon
    Shipley Glen caravan site in centre
   Menwith Hill golf balls on horizon
                                  Over the old railway station to Bradford
             Plenty Dunnocks holding territory

                         and several Chaffinch

A pleasant day, still with the cold >E but warm in the sun.
A check on Raggalds Flood at 0645hrs found 1m Wheatear, 2m Pied Wagtails and 4 Woodpigeons as well as 5 Linnets flitting around the dry stone walls.
A dog walk down Harp Lane, Foxhill this evening produced 5 Dunnocks, 4m Chaffinch, 2 Wrens, 1 Willow Warbler , but keeping down in the Hawthorn, as well as the usual corvids.
Perfect visibility to the East but empty skies other than 2 LBB gulls heading >NW.
No sign of Swifts around the village yet.
