Wet, Windy and Wheatears

No time for birding today with a work through till 1400 then back from the hospital at 1900hrs but a text tonight from a customer of a single Wheatear on the big clay pile between the trailer park and Shelf roundabout below Hillas,s transport yard.
Some more top up for the flood today hopefully, it was lashing down at Leeds but dont know about here this p.m.
Nice to talk to Queensbury customer and blog watcher Graham Maloney at the garage this morning complaining about a Heron taking a fancy to the fish in his garden pond. If you can get a good picture of the Heron with one of your prize Koi in its bill Graham I,ll put it on the blog ! Thanks for being a regular on the blog Graham and your concern for Lynda , it makes it all the more worthwhile knowing that it brings pleasure to people reading it so get that net back off the pond and the camera ready.
