Sheff Moor and up in the clouds at Leeds

11 Meadow Pipits in the trailer park field No Wheatear

Dramatic sky going into Leeds, luckily the lights were red so
   snapped it through the windscreen.
Storm gone and blue skies from the top of
              St James car park
Hard to get shots as all wired off to stop the jumpers.

A quiet floor for once due to the late hour
St James towering into a black sky
                     Its a long way down

                      Last of the sun, 1800hrs.

An early evening appointment today so went early in case of bad Friday afternoon traffic.
Had a bit of spare time to kill on arrival so drove up onto the top of the car park to get a few shots of dramatic skies which unfortunately had cleared by the time we got there.
Managed one through the car windscreen approaching Leeds despite a horn or two when the lights changed plus a rollocking off Lynda.

Checked the trailer field at lunch time for Wheatears but only Mipits to be found.
Eck, no Leeds for 2 days, sheer bliss.
