                                    4 Snipe up displaying

A flying visit to the Shelf Moor Lapwing field at 1530hrs in heavy rain showers but a decrease in wind found it deserted of Lapwing but 4 Snipe were up in the distance over the riding stables field displaying with one drumming several times.
Around 12 Meadow Pipits were at the far side of the field and 2 Common gull were present.
All quiet around Corporal Hill and Green Lane.
